Victoria Blaho, PhD was awarded a Kirschstein-NRSA individual postdoctoral fellowship from the National Cancer Institute to carry out research on recruitment and activity of tumor-associated immune cells. She will be working with Timothy Hla in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College Center for Vascular Biology in New York City. [...]

Dr. Baldwin trained in the laboratory of Alistair Lax, Ph. D. at King’s College, London, where his studies focused on the mode of action of Pasteurella multocida toxin (PMT) using biochemical and cell biological approaches.

MMI Faculty member, Dongsheng Duan was featured in a Health Report on KOMU, August 21, 2009 for finding that the ‘Longevity’ Gene that enhanced mice exercise performance may be applied to humans.
